Gabriel Zalles Ballivian is a Bolivian student living in San Diego and attending UCSD, where he is working towards a PhD in Computer Music. He is an audio engineer specializing in the field of immersive audio, specifically ambisonics. He has experience developing software with MATLAB, JUCE (C++), and also loves open source hardware. He has experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, circuit design and general hardware manufacturing processes. His research and artwork have been shown at NIME, AES, NYCEMF, SMC, DAVAMOT, EDAM, and LAC.
